TITT TALKS - a podcast for modern women living in a mama world. Four college best friends (Tiffany, Isa, Tiffany, and Tiffany) chat and share stories on a particular topic every other week. Some playful, some serious, these “TITT Talks” shed light on being an Asian Pacific American working mother in 2020. Through the lens of our own experience, we aim to create a community of modern women who celebrate and redefine motherhood. At its core, TITT Talks is a podcast about modern womxn living in a mama world, sharing the fun, the ridiculousness, and the relatable struggles of living our best lives in an ever-changing world of expectations.

How SHE Built This: Frankly Apparel
Monday Nov 09, 2020
Monday Nov 09, 2020
Welcome to the second episode of TITT Talks: How She Built This. On this second installment we are featuring the co-founders of Frankly Apparel (https://www.franklyapparel.com), Jane Dong and Heather Eaton. This spin-off series is meant to intimately discuss the journey of building a business as a female entrepreneur in a 20-ish minute segment. These types of conversations are what inspire and empower us as budding entrepreneurs at TITT Talks, and we hope they do the same for you as well.
This week, we bring to you the womxn that have brought to life a clothing company that gives you the freedom to finally go braless and be supported at the same time. Frankly Apparel’s vision, which we love, is to empower womxn to ask for more, starting with what they wear. They are delivering products that are centered around adaptable support structures constructed through innovative sewing techniques and high-quality fabrics. They lightly and naturally lift, secure, and shape your breasts, and even cover nipples without any extra bulky padding. They also know one size doesn’t fit all, so Frankly Apparel offers more options to cover cup sizes A to G. Essentially, Jane and Heather read our minds and are creating a product that we all need.
Join us as TLo sits down to interview Jane and Heather, learn more about their journey, and what’s in store for Frankly Apparel.
Frankly Apparel is running a Kickstarter campaign that will conclude on November 12, 2020. They are nearing their stretch goal of $50,000! For more information or to contribute, find their campaign here.
It has always been our mission to connect with other modern womxn through the lens of our experience. We hope you enjoy this new series as much as we do!

ABOUT TITT TALKS
TITT Talks was “conceived” in January of 2020 during one of TITT’s many friend/family (“framily”) get-togethers. In conversation, it came to light that there was a lack of representation of womxn like TITT in, among other forms of media, the podcast world. In particular, there was no podcast that TITT could subscribe to that would enable them to feel seen, heard, or understood as modern Asian Pacific American working mothers.
The womxn of TITT Talks knew that this void was one they could fill by sharing their voices and experiences through their casual conversations, which were already taking place on a routine basis.
Thank you for the positive feedback we have received since our launch in early June 2020. We are delighted to hear that we are bringing you content that you can finally relate to as mothers, professionals, millennials, and Asian Pacific Americans.

Food is Not Just Fuel
Wednesday Nov 04, 2020
Wednesday Nov 04, 2020
Food. How can such a simple word evoke so many different emotions, ideas, and experiences in each of us?
Today, we have a (mentally) delicious treat for you: an episode about our favorite meals that have been forever emblazoned in our hearts not just because the food was bomb, but also because of the people we shared them with and/or the unique experiences that accompanied those meals.
Chuk, as the host of this episode, also explains her husband’s role in inspiring the title of this episode. Bless his heart!
We also welcome one of our beloved ADPi sisters to the show: Jenny Kim Pardini (known to us by her college nickname, JK)! In addition to running her therapy practice, she runs her family’s food blog entitled Umami & Us (@umamiandus), in which she shares some of her family’s all-time favorite recipes! Sophisticated, kid-approved recipes - what more could we want? JK is married to JimmyPardini, the head chef and owner of our favorite Italian restaurant, The Annex Kitchen in Fresno, CA (@annexkitchenfresno). Together, they are a culinary powerhouse! Listen to JK tell us how she does it all: manage a successful therapy practice, raise two wonderful kids, help operate The Annex Kitchen, etc. She also shares some tricks for getting her kids to eat everything as well as some of her favorite places to eat!
We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed recording it! We’d love to hear about your favorite meals and experiences too! Connect with us through the links below!

How SHE Built This: Guildford Green Wine Company
Monday Nov 02, 2020
Monday Nov 02, 2020
Welcome to the first of our TITT Talks: How She Built This Series featuring the founders of Guildford Green Wine Company! This spin-off series is meant to discuss, intimately, the journey of building a business as a female entrepreneur in a 20-ish minute segment. These types of conversations are what inspire and empower us as budding entrepreneurs here at TITT Talks, and we hope it does the same for you as well.
This week, we bring to you the ideators of a brilliant new company named Guildford Green Wine Company (www.guildfordgreen.com). Guildford Green Wine Company was built as the answer for anyone who has stood in front of the grocery aisle and been confused, annoyed, or overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choices. Christine Meredith and Daisy Kwoh have created, in impressive speed, a specialty curated service that brings small-batch, sommelier-level wine to your doorstep. They rely on four principles to optimize the customer experience - a limited (but delightful) list of fine wines, a discovery of new favorites that rotate with the seasons, exquisite quality for every collection, and familiar descriptions so that you know exactly what you’re getting.
Join us as TCha sits down at the virtual table with Christine and Daisy as they talk wine, kids, and their new work/life balance as entrepreneurs that do it all.
It has always been our mission to connect with other modern womxn through the lens of our experience. We hope you enjoy this new series as much as we do!

Bringing up the Next Generation of Compassionate Children
Wednesday Oct 21, 2020
Wednesday Oct 21, 2020
Just like you, we want to raise the next generation to be responsible little citizens of the world. In light of all the complexities of today’s diverse families and current culture awareness, how do we teach our kids to be kind and respectful of everyone else? How do we begin the discussion about celebrating all identities and heritages that make us unique and stronger together?
We brought in the founders of a non-profit named Raising Compassionate Leaders to really bring expertise to the conversation. Christina Johnson and Denica Gordon-Mandel are two of the four sisters who founded this non-profit to help people of all ages start to unpack these difficult conversations to tackle bite-sized pieces we can all handle.
It all starts with a willingness to be better. To learn more about RCL and to play a bigger role in this non-profit, please visit https://www.rcleaders.com/
It has always been our mission to connect with other modern womxn through the lens of our experience. This is our first topic that dives into the many dimensions of raising compassionate little human beings, so we hope you find this episode as inspiring as we did!

We’d like to share a message with you about the 2020 Census. The Census is our American way of counting everyone living in the United States to determine how resources are allocated and how decisions are made. Decisions like funding for schools, roads, public services, and healthcare. Businesses also use this data to decide whether to open up new stores in our neighborhoods.
This week, along with other fellow Asian organizations across the country, member shows of the Asian Podcast Network like TITT Talks are proud to participate in the 2020 Census Asian Week of Action.
If you haven’t, take a moment to go to 2020census.gov to fill out yours for your household. This is our last chance for the next 10 years and the deadline is fast approaching.
It just takes minutes and can make a decade of impact. We also encourage you to check in with your family and friends to make sure they do the same.
Let’s make sure the voices of our amazing community are heard loud and clear and participate in the 2020 Census.
Let’s Get Counted and shape our future, here and now.

Working Moms
Wednesday Jul 22, 2020
Wednesday Jul 22, 2020
On our fourth episode of TITT Talks, you will get to know the professional side of TITT a little better as we discuss our individual professional journeys that brought us to where we are today. We also discuss the challenges of being working moms and the experiences we have had re-entering the workforce after our maternity leaves. It has been a challenge to manage all the demands of parenthood with the ever-changing expectations this pandemic has brought us. It goes without saying that being a mom is the most important job we hold so we salute all the mothers out there.
“The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home.” – Harold B. Lee
