TITT TALKS - a podcast for modern women living in a mama world. Four college best friends (Tiffany, Isa, Tiffany, and Tiffany) chat and share stories on a particular topic every other week. Some playful, some serious, these “TITT Talks” shed light on being an Asian Pacific American working mother in 2020. Through the lens of our own experience, we aim to create a community of modern women who celebrate and redefine motherhood. At its core, TITT Talks is a podcast about modern womxn living in a mama world, sharing the fun, the ridiculousness, and the relatable struggles of living our best lives in an ever-changing world of expectations.

Ghosts! And TITT Talks’ Tales of the Supernatural!
Just in time for Halloween! We’ve gathered around our imaginary spooky fire to share our own personal “ghost” stories - none of which can be explained by any rhyme, reason, or scientific data. But, if you are afraid of the dark or tales of spirits unknown, fear not! Contrary to what we thought when we were young babies, many of our experiences with the supernatural are quite beautiful and have strengthened our bonds with loved ones, whether they are still here on Earth with us or whether they are looking down upon us with love from above. We hope you enjoy this very special episode, and we hope to hear some of your tales too!
About TITT TALKS
TITT Talks was “conceived” in January of 2020 during one of TITT’s many friend/family (“framily”) get-togethers. In conversation, it came to light that there was a lack of representation of womxn like TITT in, among other forms of media, the podcast world. In particular, there was no podcast that TITT could subscribe to that would enable them to feel seen, heard, or understood as modern Asian Pacific American working mothers.
The womxn of TITT Talks knew that this void was one they could fill by sharing their voices and experiences through their casual conversations, which were already taking place on a routine basis.
Thank you for the positive feedback we have received since our launch in early June of 2020. We are delighted to hear that we are bringing you content that you can finally relate to as mothers, professionals, millennials, and Asian Pacific Americans.
To our listeners of this special How SHE Built This series, our mission has always been to connect with other modern womxn through the lens of our own experiences so we thought this series would be a perfect fit. We have inadvertently jumped on this journey of growing our own business as entrepreneurs and thought these conversations would not only be empowering, inspiring and refreshing for us, but for our listeners as well.

The TITT-Tea: Social Media Effects on us and our children
Thursday Oct 14, 2021
Thursday Oct 14, 2021
Hey everyone! It’s Isa! I am your host for this mini segment where we check in with each other on what is going on in the world, what’s the TITT Tea? This will cover the things you are most likely talking with your girlfriends about and can span any subject. Today we are talking about the Facebook/Instagram Outage, the impacts of social media in general on us and our kids, and if Facebook/Instagram execs are putting profits over people. This episode was inspired by The Daily podcast, The Wall Street Journal, NPR and various articles on the subject.
This was a little spur of the moment, so if you hear a random phone call in the background, or even a little echo at the end... hey we are working moms and this is what we do best! Multi-task. Take a little mid-day break with us, and let's talk about it!

How SHE Built This: Ladies Of Sound
Friday Oct 01, 2021
Friday Oct 01, 2021
Join us for another episode of TITT Talks: How She Built This! This week, we are featuring Ladies Of Sound (@ladiesofsound.la) founders Maricel Sison (@msison) and Samantha Garong (@sammi.g_). This spin-off series is meant to intimately discuss the journey of building a business as a female entrepreneur. These types of conversations inspire us and we hope they do the same for you as well.
For the first time in the HSBT series all four TITTS sit down in the Ladies of Sound headquarters with Maricel and Sammi as they simultaneously produce this special episode and take us through their experience on how they found a passion for music and throwing events, which led them on a path to creating space and a community for women in the music industry. Ladies of Sound is the official women's division of the Beat Junkies Institute of Sound. Their platform is made to support women in the DJ and music industry.
Utilizing their talents, they have worked through challenges, have had some big wins, pandemic pivots and talk about all of these experiences with TITT Talks. In an otherwise male dominated world, Ladies of Sound has worked from an 8% enrollment of women in the Beat Junkies Institute of Sound classes to 56% as of 2021. Listen in to hear more about their inspiring story as minority women entrepreneurs creating opportunities for other women and inspiring a future generation of women in music.
It has always been our mission to connect with other modern women through the lens of our experience. We hope you enjoy this series as much as we do!
Connect with the Ladies of Sound and support their business at the following links. It is so important now, more than ever, to support not only our local small businesses but our AAPI-owned small businesses.

One of the best parts of having a painful and memorable birth is the ability to share it with your girlfriends in all its gruesome splendor. From watching your partner peacefully sleep while you’re in Hell during your contractions to the “ring of fire” many women experience, there is relief - and even entertainment - in reminiscing together. Before the labor, after the labor, we cover it all, with LOTS of “we wish we knews” thrown in.
Births are all different and that’s the magic of it. Let’s relive the pain and miracles together.

Lady Boner Killers - Part Duex (and Lady Boner Makers)
Wednesday Sep 01, 2021
Wednesday Sep 01, 2021
Season 4 is upon us and what better way to ring it than talking about more LBKs? We’ve gone through a whole pandemic with our loved ones and we’ve added more LBKs to our list. Lack of appreciation? BOO. Failure to follow through? NEXT!
But we’ve also grown more grateful for all we have (and we have so much)! Despite our ups and downs, we are still very much in love with our partners, and to honor them, we also discuss LBMs (Lady Boner Makers). Picking up the dog doo? TALK DIRTY TO ME!
We hope you enjoy our first episode of this season! As always, please feel free to contact us, add to our lists, or just say hi!

Anti-Asian Hate Roundtable with Raising Compassionate Leaders
Wednesday May 12, 2021
Wednesday May 12, 2021
TITT Talks addresses rising anti-Asian hate sentiments in this episode. We are joined by two board members of Raising Compassionate Leaders (rcleaders.com): Justine Bautista, PhD student in Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine and Dr. Kristine Yi, clinical psychologist specializing in cross-cultural work in families. Together, we begin to explore the foundations of Asian hate, its effect on our AAPI community, and resources to overcome these barriers together. This is just one of the many conversations we will have surrounding the greater scope of racism.
Here are some of the resources we mention in the episode.
- Resource Hub: https://anti-asianviolenceresources.carrd.co
- Report AAPI hate crimes
- Stop AAPI Hate
- 1-844-9-NO-HATE or 8449nohate.org
- Mental Health Support
- Basic Needs

Wednesday Apr 28, 2021
Join us for another episode of TITT Talks: How She Built This! This week, we are featuring Mayly Tao (@maylytao), the Owner of DK's Donuts & Bakery and Donut Princess LA. This spin-off series is meant to intimately discuss the journey of building a business as a female entrepreneur in a 20-ish minute segment. These types of conversations inspire us here at TITT Talks, and we hope they do the same for you as well.
TLo sits down to chat with Mayly as she takes us through her experience growing up as a child of Cambodian refugees. She saw, first hand, how hard her parents worked to have a slice of the American dream. Utilizing her education and contemporary insights, she modernized the family business and as a result, DK’s Donuts & Bakery has become a Los Angeles institution. Listen in to hear more about her story as an entrepreneur. You’ll find that Mayly is full with love, compassion and humility.
TLo and Mayly have a discussion around her experience as a person of influence in the AAPI community. Note that this episode was recorded in the latter part of 2020, prior to the significant uptick in Anti-Asian hate crimes and incidents.
It has always been our mission to connect with other modern womxn through the lens of our experience. We hope you enjoy this series as much as we do!
